If you have a student in Palm Beach County, check your school before heading out. The district said six schools stay closed today: Egret Lake Elementary, Grassy Waters Elementary, Sandpiper Shores Elementary, Washington Elementary, Jeaga Middle School and West Boca High. They're six of the 10 closed this week. Students who can't reach an open school because of unsafe conditions get an excused absence.
